Also, i think from an england perspective it is not that bad a group. tough one for scotland, and n. ireland. i think rep of ire have a good chance though

There are some tricky groups rather than difficult ones or a 'group of death' but I believe the big teams should make it.

England's group is not tough but Wales will fight hard against England and Switzerland is a solid team.

I think Bulgaria are no longer the threat they used to be in the 1990s but Montenegro could be the surprise team (like Bosnia was in World Cup qualifiers before losing to Portugal). They have the talented Stevan Jovetic (Fiorentina- he gunned down Liverpool in CL) and Roma's striker Mirko Vucinic.

England should qualify but I agree about Montenegro - they're seeded where they are solely on the basis of being an unknown quantity and they will surprise a few people IMO. I worry for Wales in those circumstances as they will finish last if the promised improvement does not materialise.

Got a sneaky feeling ROI will win their group. Scotland will need to take six points off Lithuania and Lichtenstein and four off the Czechs, which would be a huge ask if the Czech side were anything like the one of a few years ago. NI will struggle IMO.
